Water is pooling in my garden and the bill has climbed — is that a leak?
Often, yes. Parts of lower Tokai sit on sandy soil with a high winter water table, which can mask an underground supply leak: the water disappears into the ground instead of surfacing where the pipe actually broke. Our leak detection uses acoustic tracing and pressure testing to find the break without digging up the lawn hunting for it.
Do the pine trees really cause drain problems?
Roots do not seek out a sound, sealed pipe — but they will exploit one that already has a hairline crack or a loose joint, and older Tokai properties bordering the plantation have plenty of both. A CCTV inspection tells you whether you have a root problem or a collapsed section, which are very different repairs.
Can you issue a COC when I sell?
